Historical Commission

The Town of Superior partners with the Historical Commission to preserve and protect the historical treasures in our community. The Commission meets the third Friday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Town Hall.  Historic Commission Meeting Agendas and Minutes

The Superior Historical Museum is open for the public and staffed by volunteers on the first Saturday of each month, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.   The Musuem is housed in a rehabilitated house that had been located in the Industrial Mine camp just south of Original Town.

Don't forget to purchase your copy of "Lost Superior Remembering the Architectural Heritage of a Colorado Mining Town".  The book is on sale for $10 at Town Hall.  You can also print a copy of the Living in Superior, Colorado coloring book for free!

The Commission also invites you to explore past issues of the Superior Historian, a quarterly publication produced by members of the Historical Commission, and information about the Town of Superior historic Cemetery.
