Superior's Environmental Initiatives and Programs

One of the Town Board of Trustee’s Goals is Expand Environmental Initiatives – “Pursue open space and trail acquisitions, including community and regional trail connections; begin implementation of energy self-sufficiency initiatives; adopt residential and commercial green building codes; expand recycling efforts; and identify opportunities to assist to achieve conservation improvements.”

 

The Town of Superior has numerous projects, programs, events, and committees working to improve the environment.  The Town offers energy and irrigation audits to residents; recycling events for residents, green capital improvement projects to become self-sufficient, and green building codes.  The Recycling Conservation Advisory Committee for the Town of Superior oversees many of these projects and continues to look for new ideas to improve conservation efforts.  Below are links to these various Environmental Initiatives
