Arbor Day Celebration

Plan on joining the Town Saturday, April 18th from 10 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Town 9 Park to celebrate Arbor Day with tree care education and demonstrations, kids’ activities, tree planting and refreshments.

Town 9 Park in Original Town (Coal Creek Drive and 76th)
On Saturday, May 9, we will kick things off with Superior Days in Original Town.  Join us for some old fashioned hometown fun featuring a vintage baseball game (provided by Colorado Vintage Base Ball Association), garden show, beer garden, touch-a-truck, pie eating contests, games, and much more.

Breakfast Station located in the Parks, Recreation and Open Space office parking lot (Coal Creek Drive and McCaslin). Breakfast snacks and other promotional items provided.

4th of July Festival (Parade and Pancake Breakfast) and Downhill Mile Race

Keep your eye on the grand old flag , as we celebrate our country's birthday with the annual 4th of July Parade and Pancake Breakfast.  The parade winds through neighborhoods and highlights our community with fun floats, a bicycle brigade and lots of toys and candy for the kids.  The parade culminates with a delicious pancake breakfast for all residents and guests at Community Park.  Sugar Daddy will provide live music.  What better way to start this important day!!  For more information on the parade or to enter a float please contact contact Kristi Audette at 303-499-3675.  Click on the Float Application Form here.

Get there early on July 4th to participate in or watch the Superior Downhill Mile--the Fastest Street Mile in the United States.  The race starts at 7:00 a.m. at Rock Creek Parkway and McCaslin Boulevard. 9th Annual Chili Fest and 29th Annual Mile High Chili Cook-off

On September 12, we will hold the 9th Annual Chili Fest.  In addition the Town will be hosting the 29th Annual Mile High Cook-off, a regional International Chili Society sanctioned event.  Get ready for an afternoon and evening of great live music featuring Hazel Miller, delicious food, and tons of fun.  This event is a favorite of kids of all ages, featuring craft vendors, chili samples and beer and root beer gardens.
